Contestants proud of participation in Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Int’l Holy Quran Competition, 3rd edition Accolades given to arbitrators, sponsors, media, volunteers

The organising committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has run a special ceremony to honour the members of the arbitration committee and the panel of the initial qualifying tests of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition, 3rd edition

Accolades were also given to the sponsors of the global competition, as well as media people, staffers and volunteers of the Award, leave alone the financial and administrative and IT unit

H.E Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha, Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Chairman of Organising Committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, accompanied by Dr. Saeed Abdullah Hareb, Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee, and members of the organising committee, extended their sincere appreciation to the honorees for their exceptional effort to make a big success of the prestigious competition

Renowned scholar Sheikh Abdelfattah Al Tarouti, Egypt, Member of the Arbitration Committee, started the honouring ceremony by reciting some verses from the holy Quran with his beautiful voice

H.E Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha then started honoured the members of the arbitration committee which included Prof. Dr. Salem bin Garmallah Al-Zahrani, Saudi Arabia, Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Fahad Kharouf, Syria, Sheikh Ali Hassan Al Ali, UAE, Sheikh Abdulfattah Al Tarouti, Egypt, Sheikh Sadiq Mohammed Abdullah from, and Sheikh Tahir Idris Al-Naim, Nigeria

H.E Bu Melha also honoured members of the Initial Tests Committee that included Dr. Fatima Hussain Al Ali, Ms. Khawla Hassan Al Hammadi, and Ms. Asma Hassan Al Marzouqi

Accolades were given to the representatives of the government departments, private entities, and sponsors of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition, 3rd edition 

These included the Cultural and Scientific Association at Al Mamzar area, Dubai, Dubai Media Inc., Dubai Municipality, Dubai Women’s Association, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and Prime Medical Group

 

 

 

 

 

H.E Bu Melha also honoured all media people, particularly those from abroad for their remarkable coverage of the activities of the competition in the morning and evening shifts. These included Ahlualquran TV Channel and Ahram e-paper

Accolades were given to the DIHQA official delegation who participated in the 19th edition of the Moscow International Holy Quran Award ‘Zayed Edition’ that was held recently under the sponsorship of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award

 

The delegation, led by Dr. Saeed Abdullah Hareb, Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee, best represented the organising committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award in the Moscow International Holy Quran Award that was held under the theme ‘Year of Zayed’

A documentary on the founding father of the UAE Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (RIP), his white hands, and kind humanitarian and charitable services, was played during the concluding ceremony of the Moscow award

The delegation included Eng. Sami Abdullah Gargash, Member of the Organising Committee and Head of PR Unit, Ahmed Al Zahid, Member of the Organising Committee, and Head of Media Unit, Khalid Al Marzouqi, Deputy Head of the PR Unit, and Sheikh Ali Hassan Al Ali who was selected as a member of the Arbitration Committee

Emirati national, Waleed Al Marzouqi, has shinned in the 19th edition of the Moscow International Holy Quran Award (Zayed Edition), and brilliantly managed to rank third despite the stiff competition

The global competition, organised in Moscow on October 17 – 21, has seen a massive participation from contestants representing over 30 countries and foreign Islamic communities around the world

Al Marzouqi has exceptionally scored a high mark, according to Dr. Saeed Abdullah Hareb, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) Organising Committee

H.E Bu Melha also honoured the volunteers of the competition which included the PR team, Auditorium team, Airport team, Accommodation team, Transport team, leave alone the staffers of the financial and administrative and IT unit

The concluding ceremony was ended with a special supplication from Sheikh Taher Idrees, Nigeria, Member of the Arbitration Committee, while cash and in-kind prizes were later distributed to the audience as per a raffle draw as was the case every day in the morning and evening sessions of the competition
