‘Jewels of Emirates’ Show attracts high turnout of visitors

The 1st edition of the ‘Jewels of Emirates’ Show, which is currently held at the Expo Centre Sharjah, is witnessing a heavy turnout of visitors who flock to the event to take advantage of the exciting deals and attractive offers by over 100 local exhibiting companies.

The exhibition clearly reflects the UAE’s and Sharjah’s outstanding reputation as a leading destination for gold, diamond, and gemstones.

Speaking about the importance of the exhibition, the exhibiting companies stressed that the ‘Jewels of Emirates’ Show is an ideal platform for promoting state-of-the-art gold and jewelry manufactured by their companies, especially after the recession inflicted by the Covid-19 pandemic. They praised the positive impact of the event on the growth of their business and the strengthening of their presence in the markets.

Salem Al Shueibi, the owner of “Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery”, said that he was keen to book the largest area available in the Show, as part of his eagerness to take part in every gold and jewelry event organized by Expo Centre locally or globally. he added that such activities and events are a perfect opportunity for jewelers to showcase their latest designs and innovations and to establish partnerships with industry counterparts.

Vishank Kothari, Sales Director, Fine Jewelry and Diamonds, expressed happiness with the participation, thanking Expo Centre for organizing this event which constitutes an important opportunity to introduce his company to the largest segment of visitors fond of elegant and creative designs and trends.

He commended the promotional campaigns launched by the organizing committee, including the valuable gold and jewelry prizes, the presence of exchange companies, and gold polishing shops, in addition to the implementation of the strictest precautionary measures with constant monitoring by a competent team and expansion of the exhibit areas to apply the physical distancing.

“The high turnout we are witnessing during the first two days of the event reflects the success of the ‘Jewels of Emirates’ revitalizing the gold and jewelry trade and boost the local commercial traffic,” said His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al-Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, underlining that this event has definitely benefitted from the Centre’s outstanding reputation in organizing the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show (WJMES) and the success achieved in the events launched during the pandemic, something which boosted people’s confidence in the activities organized by the Centre.

The Jewels of Emirates Show offers visitors a lot of surprises, including the chance to win a Diamond Jewellery Set and diamond ring offered by Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery through a raffle draw on the last day of the event. and AED 1000 daily gift vouchers, as well as the exclusive offers and deals the exhibitors will launch throughout the event.

Also, Sharjah TV will broadcast a daily show to interview exhibitors and organizers, with a chance for visitors to win AED 10000 gift vouchers through daily raffle draws from the scene.

The Show opens its doors to visitors on Wednesday and Saturday from 2 pm to 10 pm, and on Thursday from 2 pm to 11 pm, while on Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm. Free entry and parking (either opposite the Centre or in the adjacent building).
