“Dar Alber” spent 11.88.522 million dirhams in Ras Alkhaimah during 2019

Dar Alber branch in Ras Alkhaimah reaped revenues reached 11 million , 88 thousands and 177 dirhams during last year 2019, provided by the philanthropists and organizations from the private sector, and were spent on 8 different and integrated fields for humanitarian and charitable work in the United Arab Emirates and many other countries around the world.

Ali Abdullah Alshehy, the director of Dar Alber branch in Ras Alkhaimah, pointed out that 5 million, 613 thousand and 522 dirhams allocated to construction projects, serving and maintaining mosques and digging wells. One million and 232 thousand and 325 dirhams spent in the frame of providing zakat for its beneficiaries, 157,315 dirhams went to printing the Holy Quran projects and distributing it to the Muslims in several countries, 1,246,484 dirhams for orphans sponsorships, science students and teachers project, 1,814,974 dirhams spent in the frame of supporting the projects of the productive families, 219,593 for the charitable endowment , 400,000 dirhams for the seasonal projects as breaking fast for the fasting and Al Adhha and Al fitr Eid clothing for the children and beneficiaries. However, 403,963 dirhams came from moneybox (safe) in the market and public utilities.

Ali Alshehy indicated to spending 8,736,980 dirhams on providing happiness projects, among 571,50 dirhams to pay the rent of houses of 439 needy families, 2,477,500 dirhams to pay the fees of 653 students in schools and universities from the families that can’t afford them, 1,325,22 dirhams to pay the cost of treatment for 292  needy patients and 294,940 dirhams for paying the bills of electricity and water for the houses of  98 families of limited income.

According to Alshehy, the Society branch in Ras Alkhaimah recorded 307 new converted during 2019, organized Umrah trip for 46 needy within the “once age Umrah” project, distributed 40,000 calling to Islam leaflets following the approach of moderation and mildness, organized 2700 religious educational awareness lessons. Moreover, Alber project branch for memorizing the Holy Quran in Ras Alkhaimah registered 84 male and female students, while one of the students succeeded in completing memorizing the entire Quran, 8 students participated in the Quranic competitions and the project branch organized two sharia scientific courses.
