The MoU was signed by Professor Abdullah Alshamsi, Vice Chancellor of BUiD, and Professor Fawwaz Al-Abed Al-Haq, President of The Hashemite University, at BUiD’s campus in the presence of senior staff from both institutions. The MoU will develop academic and cultural collaboration in areas of education and research.

The MoU aims to encourage students and academic exchange, developing new programmes and working on joint research and publications. In addition, the two universities agreed to organise joint seminars and conferences.
Professor Fawwaz Al-Abed Al-Haq said, “Our aim at HU is excellence in university teaching and scientific research. Signing an MoU with a research-based university such as BUiD is a great opportunity for our students and staff.”
