Dubai Quran Award shines at 37th Sharjah Int’l Book Fair

, 2018: The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has vigorously participated in the 37th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair running from Oct 31 to Nov 10 under the theme ‘A Tale of Words’
The milestone event, annually held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, is seeing over 1,874 publishers from 77 countries
H.E Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha, Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Head of DIHQA Organising Committee, who attended the inauguration ceremony, said they have always been very keen to partake in all the fair editions
“Such a robust participation is part of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award strategy to promote and shed light on its activities, latest programs, and is in line with its vivacious involvement in all forums.”
He added that the Dubai International Holy Quran is showcasing a big collection of publications that exceeded 113 titles on Quranic studies, scientific miracles in the Quran and Sunnah, the biography of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).”
The Award, for the first time, presents two new titles; the first is ‘Durrat Al-Dhawiya’ that comes in one volume, while the second is ‘Mujama Al-Ghraib’ that consists of six volumes, he stated
“These are apart from the audio and video tapes of all the miscellaneous competitions, lectures and programs organized by the Award over the previous years.”
H.E Bu Melha said the design of the DIHQA pavilion at the global exhibition in Sharjah Expos Centre is in line with the Award distinguished position and reputation at the local and international levels
“The perfect and practical design helps our visitors have a convenient access to the award programs, publications and activities that are being organised throughout the year.”
“An array of valuable brochures, publications and even gifts are being distributed at the award pavilion,” Bu Melha said, inviting the public to visit the award pavilion which is located at Hall No. (4), Section (G-1)
