Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance celebrates UAE Flag Day

Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance celebrated UAE Flag Day today (Thursday, November 3) at its headquarters in Dubai. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and General Secretary of the Foundation, alongside with the Foundation’s executives and personnel.

The event was commenced with UAE national anthem, during which Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi raised the nation’s Flag in a festive mood of loyalty and love for the UAE and its values of dignity and sovereignty. The attendees expressed blessings on this important occasion and vowed to continue the glorious march of efforts established by the founding fathers to realize the vision and directives of the wise leadership and contribute to the UAE’s journey towards the next fifty years.

During the celebration, Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi said that Flag Day symbolizes the country’s principles of justice, peace, tolerance, and coexistence. All men, women, and children of all nationalities take part in this celebration to show their love for this generous land.

Flag Day is a special occasion for all of us because it fosters the feeling of pride, loyalty, belonging, devotion, and dedication to the country’s wise leadership in the hearts of generations. We celebrate our country’s great achievements and its development in all economic and social fields, renewing loyalty and belonging to the UAE and its wise leadership,” said Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi.

Dr. Al Muhairi reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to support education with its high-quality projects and programs that have empowered educational excellence and care for the talented and innovators, and it looks forward in the next stage, under the directives of its Supreme President, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, to achieve the ambitious national vision toward raising the UAE education to advanced ranks as a global model.
