Commercial Bank of Dubai Wins Three Awards at the EMEA Finance’s Middle East Banking Awards 202

Commercial Bank of Dubai, one of the leading banks in the UAE, has won three awards at the thirteenth edition of the EMEA Finance Middle East Banking Awards 2020. The Middle East Banking Awards celebrate the achievements of banking institutions that have recorded consistent performance, demonstrated the highest standards of service, developed innovative products, and achieved overall excellence in the industry. CBD has been recognised as the “Best Local Bank in UAE”, retaining this award for the second consecutive year. In addition, the Bank’s newly launched CBD Digi Account was honoured for “Best Product Launch in the Middle East”. Furthermore, CBD’s CEO Dr. Bernd van Linder has been acknowledged as the CEO of the Year.
The awards were received by Dr. Bernd van Linder, Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of Dubai at a ceremony held recently at the Bank’s headquarters in Dubai.
Upon receiving the awards, Dr. van Linder stated: “Despite the challenging environment in 2020, we continued to provide uninterrupted service to our clients through accelerating our digital service offering. These three awards that we won at the 2020 EMEA Finance Middle East Banking Awards are a testament to our digital transformation strategy which is relentlessly focused on improving customer experience. We will continue to provide innovative banking solutions to exceed the expectations of our customers when it comes to customer service.”
