Dar Al Ber Society has announced that it has received a generous donation and a qualitative support from Dubai Islamic Bank, which is “Zakat money” for the current year, for the needy and deserving people, with a value of 16 million dirhams.
Eng. Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Ber, stressed that the value of Zakat will be spent in its legal channels, including Medical treatment of patients, school and university fees for students, payment of electricity bills, rent fees for low-income families , support to build houses for those in need, house maintenance for needy families, and some other general expenses.
Abdul-Qader Al-Rayyes, Director General of Dar Al Ber Society expressed the highest thanks and appreciation to Dubai Islamic bank, for its great honour, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of the needy, providing their needs, and promoting social development. The Society, in the words of Abdul-Qader Al-Rayyes , called on private sector companies, businessmen, philanthropists, and community organizations to initiate a donation in favor of humanitarian cases and charitable development projects.
