Dar Al Ber Society launched two humanitarian projects, in the Province of Stoll in southern Thailand, with the support and donation of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai within a community partnership between the two parties, which included the presentation of two buses to a school , in the light of daily need for students there to move them between their homes and schools especially for female students who used to use mass transportation . The charitable initiative helped to reduce the financial burdens of their families, and made it easier for students to reach school.
According to Yosef Al-Yateem, director of the Charitable Projects Department at Dar Al Ber Society, the other project was to provide 1,568 food baskets to needy and poor families, benefiting 7,840 people of different ages.
Yosef Al-Yateem explained that the two projects were carried out in cooperation with the Solidarity Charity Association in Thailand. The two buses were dedicated to Dar Al Ma’aref National Islamic School, which is estimated at 100 years old, and currently has 1300 students.
