Part of “Facilitating Hajj” campaign 11 pilgrims dispatched 83.112 thousand Beneficiaries from 21 countries, benefited from the sacrifices and Eid clothing projects

from 21 countries around the world 83,112 people, benefited from the “sacrifices” and “Eid clothing” projects launched by the Dar Al Ber Society during Eid al-Adha, including 81,810.00 people who benefited from the sacrifice project, and 1,302 people who benefited from “Eid clothing” project, at a total cost of 2,559,195.00 AED.
Omran Mohamed Abdallah, head of the charitable projects sector in Dar Al Ber, said that the list of countries in the world ,included in the two charitable projects, are :(Sudan, Mauritania, Egypt, Mali, Kenya, Ghana, Gambia, Tajikistan, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Togo, Burkina Faso, Benin, India, Niger, Nepal, Somalia, Senegal, Sri Lanka, and Russia), noting that 7,421 of goats and sheep sacrifices were distributed to the needy, and that the two humanitarian projects were implemented in cooperation and coordination with 26 bodies and institutions which are partners of Dar Alber society in these countries.
The head of the charitable projects sector said that during Eid al-Adha season, the society carried out a third seasonal charitable project, “Pilgrimage Facilitation for the Disadvantaged”, benefiting 11 pilgrims, 10 pilgrims from Ivory Coast, , and one from Sudan, at a cost of 231,361.00 AED. The project covered the expenses of pilgrims benefiting in Ivory Coast, as well as the expenses of pilgrim’s companion in Sudan.
