Dar Al Ber is involved in treating a thousand patients in Uganda

Within a new campaign of “Zayed benevolence”

 Dar Al Ber Society has participated in the humanitarian medical campaign organized by the “Zayed Benevolence” initiative in Uganda during the period from the 29th of last November to the 3rd of December.
 
Omran Muhammad Abdullah, head of the charitable projects sector in “Dar Al-Ber” said: The society participated in the campaign alongside the medical delegation of “Zayed Benevolence (Al-Ataa)”, where the achievements of Dar Al-Ber delegation included the establishment of 6 clinics, in the fields of general medicine, family medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and ENT Clinic, within the medical camp established by the campaign there.                                               .

The Emirati heart surgeon dr. Adel Al-Shamry, CEO of the initiative, and President of the Emirates Cares Foundation, delivered a speech, in which he stated that the campaign received a thousand patients who benefited from its services, from treatment, examination and dispensing of medicines, pointing to the intensification of humanitarian medical campaigns for the African country, and the launch of a mobile medical clinic, during the coming campaigns and try to reach remote villages there.

  The humanitarian campaign organized a closing ceremony for the medical camp, and Yusuf Idris, President of the Islamic Center of Uganda, delivered a special speech, amid widespread praise of the campaign and positive reactions, which confirmed the success of the campaign in achieving their humanitarian goals, by treating a big number of poor patients and alleviating their suffering.
 
Hassan Saleh Al Ali, director of the office of the head of the charitable projects sector in the society, stated that the campaign delegation visited a school, an orphanage and a center for memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the capital Kampala, where he toured their facilities, met students and orphans, and attended part of the tests for students of the memorization center.  Abdullah Al-Tawil, the principal of the school, delivered a speech during the visit, in which he talked about the school services, the orphanage and the memorization center, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the united Arab Emirates and to “Dar Al-Ber” society, pointing out the importance of the delegation’s visit, and the urgent need to enhance the capacity of the orphanage, to sponsor more orphans.
