Dubai’s Department of Finance (DOF) opened a nursery for its employees’ children. Located at DOF headquarters in His Highness the Ruler’s Court, the newly opened nursery aims at raising happiness among its employees.
Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, DOF Director General, and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, both cut the ceremonial ribbon, in the presence of Mohammed Hamad Al Shehhi, DOF Deputy Director General along with a number of top executives from the Department.
“DOF was keen to establish a nursery for its staff children, especially working mothers, by allowing them to always be near their children,” said Huda Hamdan Al Shaikh, Executive Director for Corporate Services Sector at DOF. “In line with the directives of our wise leadership aimed at achieving happiness for all, we want to create a working environment that provides the foundations of social and psychological care for employees to achieve their happiness, based on DOF interest to give its staff every possible attention. This is within the strategic objective to create a pleasant work environment attracting talent and supportive of development and innovation.”
“DOF’s nursery welcomes children of the employees of other entities working in the H.H. the Ruler’s Court, too,” added Huda Al Shaikh. “In accordance with the highest international standards in education and modern upbringing, our nursery works to develop children’s abilities in a safe environment, administered by qualified teachers and specialised supervisors through various educational and recreational activities. It also provides innovative tools and supplies that well contribute to building children’s personalities and prepare them for the school stage.”
