The Islamic Information Center, affiliated to Dar Al Ber Society, confirmed that 5691 people, of different nationalities and ages, benefited from its religious, community and educational activities and initiatives during the last nine months of this year (2019), from January to September.
Rashid Al-Junaibi, Director of the Islamic Information Center in Dar Al-Ber said that during the first three quarters of this year, the Center launched 1702 lectures and lessons on various issues and topics. In addition, 480,285 propagation publications, respecting the moderation and mildness approach, were distributed and 277 activities and events were organized in various fields.
Al-Junaibi added: The most important activities and events, which the Center has sponsored in the past nine months, “Umrah of new Muslims”, the Forum of the new Muslim, Ramadan activities under the slogan (We shared the experience of fasting), sports events, and a series of lectures on the values and concepts of tolerance in Islam, within the framework “Year of Tolerance” events and initiatives in the UAE, blood donation campaigns, and “Welcome to Dar Zayed” event.
